Maybe That Knife Ban Is Effective After All...

Police are appealing for information about an assault on a schoolboy in Rayleigh.
...

A 15-year-old boy, from Rayleigh, was dragged along the pavement near to the entrance to the bridal (sic) path which leads to Sweyne Park.

He suffered severe ear injuries and serious grazing to various parts of his body which required specialist surgery at Broomfield Hospital. He is now recovering at home.
Pavements can certainly be an effective weapon...

Bridal path eh? Sounds like a good place to find me a wife. But wait - I'm happy, sane, and I'm not a sadist, so why would I want to get married?

You know, I wouldn't be a bit surprised...

"Bridal path eh?"

Yeah, that was a real classic. Who aid education was declining in the UK?
