Probably The Only Type Of Pen The Little Chav Can Actually Use….

A teen who temporarily blinded a police helicopter pilot with a laser pen has been handed a custodial sentence.

Dean Riley, of Cator Crescent, New Addington, shone the laser at the officer intermittently for about 10 minutes as the helicopter searched for suspects over Central Parade, in New Addington, on September 27 last year.
We aren’t told of his lengthy criminal history, but being a young male in New Addington, if he doesn’t have one, it’s probably because he hasn’t yet been caught…
Pilot Captain Tooze was able to identify Riley as the person shining the laser but he initially claimed he was not involved and gave no comment during interview.
He’s pretty clued up on the system, isn’t he?
Defending, Mr Rollin said Riley was “extremely remorseful and regretful” over his actions and wanted to apologise for what he did.
Oh, yes. They always are, aren’t they?
On Friday, he was sentenced to a four month detention and training order, reduced from six for a guilty plea.
A thirty percent reduction for not wasting the courts time? Good grief!

Should have been sentenced to having his eyes removed with a Black & Decker, mounting a counter-sink bit ..

Good to see that increasingly onerous word-check gone AP. I have to admit I've been tempted to shoot down our police helicopter for waking me up. I'm still with Haddock on the punishment, but would up this for the dealer of the offending weapon.

It's a dertile hunting ground, all right...

"...scum cops scum citizens."

I'm not sure why the former?

"Should have been sentenced to having his eyes removed..."

So he can go on disability? Innit...

As with a lot of things, this is only a 'weapon' in the hands of someone determined to misuse it. In the hands of a Powerpoint operator, it's just an aid to sleep... ;)

Well Julia, the far left are trying to source those pens for "the next time" just as news that plod are buying armoured cars for this summers forthcoming jollies. Aux barricades!
