The Ne Plus Ultra Of Dumb Criminals From Down Under...

So, you - a big, bad, and above all, recognisable, motorcycle gang - steal (from a car dealership who you claim owes someone money, a likely story, but hold on to that thought...) the most recognisable car in Australia. So recognisable, you don't bother to repaint it.

Or, it seems, hide it...
The Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera was always going to attract attention, but police discovered the canary-yellow car less than two kilometres from where it was pinched - directly in front of the Finks' Port Melbourne clubhouse.
D'oh!!

Still, the car dealer, one Mr Lorbek, should be quite chuffed, eh? Say, doesn't that name ring a bell?

Oh. Right:
Ms Lorbek, the former wife of Melbourne luxury car dealer Srecko Lorbek, had requested about $2000 in government child support this year. Instead, she received $2 million. And she spent it.
Because, hey, it might not be an error! Surely Mrs Lorbek is worth it? Don't the ads tell her that all the time?
Her son Evan, 19, said from the Sunshine Coast yesterday: ''I think it is the government's fault, because they are the ones who got it all wrong in the first place.

''I only found out about it today, when my sister called me. They have been down in Sydney and I haven't spoken to them in a couple of weeks. It's been a bit of a shock. I just thought she had won some money or something.''
Clearly, so did she. Why buy a lottery ticket?
